Happy Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month and over at "kidlitblog" they are celebrating all month. Every day a different teacher, author, librarian, or historian, is adding a post about Women's History in Children's Books.

I've been reading the posts every day, learning about all those amazing women they didn't teach us about in school, but should have, and discovering more books to add to my to-read list. So many books, so little time!

I'll be posting about Emma Lazarus on March 26. And suggesting a link to a really wonderful short music-film on Women's History. Don't miss it!

Don't worry about arriving in the middle of March; start from today and read backwards, or go back to March 1 and go in order, or jump around and pick and choose by topic.
